Summary of the Ride4Peace – Glasgow to London – Dates and Times

Ride for Peace is an endurance cycle event celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the establishment of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the United Kingdom. From 1st to 7th of June 25 Ahmadi Muslims will cycle 600 miles from Glasgow to London in seven days raising money for Humanity First and British Heart Foundation and enroute will visit 13 Mosques and several BHF shops.

Saturday 31st May

  • 5.30-6.30 pm: Inaugural ceremony in Baitur Rehman Mosque, Glasgow (8 Haugh Road, Glasgow, G3 8TR)
  • 7.00 pm: Dinner

Sunday 1st June (Day 1 of Ride4Peace) – 99 miles

  • 5.30 pm: Riders stop at BHF shop at Hawick
  • 6 pm: Riders arrive at Hawick, Scottish Borders for overnight stay at Bed & Breakfast (The Elm House Hotel, 17 N Bridge St, Hawick TD9 9BD)

Monday 2nd June (Day 2 of Ride4Peace) – 111 miles

Tuesday 3rd June (Day 3 of Ride4Peace) – 92 miles

Wednesday 4th June (Day 4 of Ride4Peace) – 93 miles

  • 10.30 am: Riders arrive at Baitus Samad Mosque, Huddersfield (for photos only) (14 miles, 41 Fitzwilliam street, HD1 4NS)
  • 14:00 pm: Riders arrive at Baitul Afiyat Mosque, Sheffield for Lunch and prayers (45 miles)
  • 14.45 pm: Riders leave Baitul Afiyat Mosque, Sheffield (60 Sussex Street, Sheffield, S4 7YY)
  • 7:30 pm: Riders arrive at Darul Amaan Mosque, Manchester ((15 Greenheys Lane, Manchester, M15 6NQ)

Thursday 5th June (Day 5 of Ride4Peace) – 97 miles

Friday 6th June (Day 6 of Ride4Peace) – 125 miles

  • 1.30 pm: Riders stop for Friday prayers along the way
  • 3.15 pm: Riders stop at Christchurch Meadows, goedkoop schoenen adidas Oxford (OX1 1DP) for refreshments provided by British Heart Foundation (General public invited to meet and greet the cyclists)
  • 3.30 pm: Riders arrive at Baitus Shakoor Mosque, Oxford (short stop)(257 Cowley Road, Oxford, OX4 1XQ
  • 8 pm: Riders arrive Baitul Wahid Mosque, Feltham, Middlesex (Rayleigh Way, Hanworth Park, Middlesex, TW13 6XJ)
