Dear Ahmadi Cyclist
In the past 100 years this passionate and magnetic community has gone from strength to strength with over 30 mosques and mission houses now established in the UK and more than 40 thousand members who preach loyalty, peace, tolerance, and respect.
Centenary Bicycle Ride for Peace is the flagship charity event for Centenary Celebrations of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK. The ride will be held from Sunday 1st June 2014 to Saturday 7th June 2014.
Ahmadi cyclists will start their journey from Baitur Rahman, the northerly-situated Mosque in the City of Glasgow, and will cycle seven days to reach the largest mosque in the Western Europe, the Baitul Futuh Mosque in London. This will constitute a total journey of 601 miles over seven days.
Along the way the cyclists will visit 10 iconic mosques of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community while offering thanks to Allah for the remarkable progress of this peaceful community.
This ride will be fully supported with support cars, food, drinks, rest stations, sleeping arrangements and regional AMYA support.
For more details including the list of Mosques please see Ride for Peace detail page
If you are an avid cyclist or just cycle occasionally, we have a place for you. Ride 100 miles a day for six days or just cycle 10 miles – it is upto you.
You are humbly invited to take part in this historic event.
