Ahmadi Cyclists Rise and Ride in the New Year

Five members of the Ahmadi Cycling Club woke up early on the first day of 2014 to celebrate the new year.

After Tahajjud and Fajr prayer these cyclists braved a very cold morning and light rain to cycle to the top of the iconic Box Hill in Surrey – a total distance of 40 miles.

Five cyclists started from Fazl Mosque after Fajr prayer. The group had their first casualty when one cyclist started having knee pain while going up the dreaded Church Road climb and had to retire.
